So important for children to listen, see and take note of especially with the crossing.

We are all using social media so much at the moment that we still need to remember to protect ourselves and our children. Please refer to the links below with reminders and tips for all. Take time to sit with your children and go over this important issue. Attached are worksheets to help the children remember how to keep safe on-line. There are also discussion cards for parents to help you get started talking about this important issue. Please share how useful you've found them.

Free to Access

We want to encourage the children to continue with their education at home and in order to do this, a number of educational based companies have made their services free of charge and/or are offering resources for free. These are all high quality resources that can be access through the internet and includes a variety of different subjects including e-books and reading material, maths games and resources as well as many other things.

Daily Timetable of what's on!

Below is a document with a list of what's on and when. I hope you will find this useful to keep the children occupied and motivated.

My Mini Maths

My Mini Maths is a website with miniature maths lessons designed to hit all the objectives of the national curriculum with 38 weeks worth of resources. Teachers at St Michael's may choose to set work from these sites whilst the school is closed but would also be a good starting point for additional resources once children have finished their allocated homework.  It breaks learning down on a Monday to Friday plan which is great for doing little and often over the course of the week. As well as this, there are also Youtube tutorials on how to complete certain methods.
