Monday 6th July 2020

Thank you to those children who made it to the Teams lessons on Thursday, it was great to see you.  There will be another lesson this Thursday.  Times will be confirmed on Class Dojo later this week.

This week's timetable of work is below.  As last week, there are a couple of extra activities.  There is a mini-project relating to our Pharaohs topic, which I have put with Monday's work but can be completed any time, and a 'just for fun' task for Friday.  As usual, you do not need to print any of the work out unless you prefer to and are able to.  If you have arranged for work to be printed by school, this will be available to collect on Monday.

This week, I would like you to find out some information about Ancient Egyptian Headdresses and Crowns.  You might find the following website helpful.

On this day (10th July) in 1940, the Battle of Britain started.  This was a crucial stage of WW2, lasting several months, and saw the Royal Air Force (RAF) defend the United Kingdom  against large-scale attacks by Nazi Germany's air force, the Luftwaffe.

Well, wasn't last week a scorcher!  I hope you all made it through without any sunburn!  

Thank you to those children who joined in with the Teams lessons on Thursday.  It was lovely to see you.  There will be another lesson this Thursday, watch out on Dojo for confirmation of times.

This week's timetable of work is below.  You will notice that there are a couple of extra activities - a topic based task which I have put with Monday's work but which could be done any day, and a 'just for fun' Friday Maths challenge.  As always, you do not need to print out any of the work unless you prefer to and are able to.  However, there is some square paper that you might want to print if you are able to as it may help you with the line graphs work.  You should still be able to complete the work effectively using plain or lined paper, but squared paper may help your work be more accurate.  If you have arranged for work to be printed by school, this will be available to collect on Monday.
