Welcome to St Michael's CE Primary School
St Michael's is a Church of England Primary School for children from the ages of nearly 5 to 11 years.
As an Academy School, we are supported by the Diocese of Sheffield. We also have close links with St Michael's Church and the local Christian community who offer us a lot of support.
Our School was originally built in the nineteen century and started life as the local village school for Old Rossington. The School was expanded in the 1960's and early 2000's when the Victorian buildings were supplemented by the building of extra classrooms and halls to meet the demand of rising pupil numbers. We currently have 368 children on roll in School.
School is open as normal tomorrow. We would like to thank you for your support.
World Book Day and the Readathon has been rearranged for Friday 9th March.
Thank you for your support.
BIBLE VERSE OF THE DAY
The commandments, "Do not commit adultery," "Do not murder," "Do not steal," "Do not covet," and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: "Love your neighbor as yourself." Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
